Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Your expertise in power tools, mechanical knowledge, and blueprint reading will be essential in ensuring the efficient operation of plumbing systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
- Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors
- Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings
- Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment
- Schedule personnel, tools and equipment
- Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
- Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
- Estimate costs and materials
- Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size
- Respond to emergency plumbing calls as needed
Position Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plumber or similar role
- Strong knowledge of power tools and mechanical systems
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical specifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for commercial driving purposes
- Basic math skills for measuring, calculating pipe lengths, and estimating materials needed
- Experience in remodeling projects is a plus
- Ability to weld, build, and plumb is highly desirable
Must be authorized to work in Canada.
