Certified Building Systems is pleased to announce and welcome Thomas Williams as the Director of Sales and Operations. Thomas will be responsible for the leadership of the CBS sales & operations teams, developing new business opportunities, and creating customized solutions to customer needs.
Thomas joins CBS with over 30 years of experience in the HVAC Service, Sales, and Energy Management industry in Canada and the USA. He is currently the President & CEO of two successful companies; Epidote Technology Solutions Inc., which provides enterprise-wide sustainable technology solutions and Wesatyn Inc., a global provider of progressive engineering solutions. In his career, Thomas has worked for many large corporations, some of which are Fortune 100 & 500 companies, in strategic management positions. As a Solutions Development Leader at Johnson Controls Inc., he analyzed contract requirements and implemented energy management, measurement and analytic tools, as well as Facility Performance Index and life cycle management solutions. He has also worked for Black & McDonald in Toronto for seven years as a Business Development Manager, leading the development of the Mechanical, Electrical, Communication and Construction divisions’ growth initiatives. Thomas began his career as a Business Development Manager in the service division for York International JV in the global markets, for almost a decade.
