Plumber

    As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in high rise residential and commercial buildings. Your expertise in the use of power tools, mechanical knowledge, and reading drawings will be essential in ensuring the efficient operation of plumbing systems. A minimum of 5-year experience in high rise, replacing the heating and domestic hot water lines (Copper and Blacksteel), working with PVC/XFR piping will be an advantage.

    Responsibilities

    • Install, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or industrial base building plumbing systems
    • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors
    • Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings
    • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering and ProPress
    • Schedule personnel, tools and equipment
    • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
    • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
    • Estimate costs and materials
    • Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size
    • Respond to emergency plumbing calls as needed

    Requirement:

    • Plumber Trade Certification, 306A
    • Driver’s License
    • Plumber Red Seal Certificate
    • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Fall Arrest, Working at Heights will be an advantage
    • Must be authorized to work in Canada
    • Minimum 3 years work experience as a Plumber (preferred)

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience as a Licensed Plumber in high rise base building systems
    • Strong knowledge of power tools and mechanical systems
    • Ability to read blueprints and follow technical specifications
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for commercial driving purposes
    • Basic math skills for measuring, calculating pipe lengths, and estimating materials needed
    • Experience in remodeling projects is a plus
    • Ability to weld, build, and plumb is highly desirable

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: We offer competitive pay based on experience.

    Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

    • Monday to Friday
